Working together in communities from coast-to-coast, Members come together with support from Royal Neighbors to empower their local communities through volunteerism. They stock food pantries, ease the suffering of natural disaster victims, fundraise for charitable causes, and support schools, libraries, and a myriad of other community organizations.

If you have a desire to give back through volunteerism, we can connect you with a chapter in your area, or we can show you how to start your own.

As a Member, you can apply for a Difference Maker Fund grant once a year to help offset the costs of your volunteer project. The project and cause are up to you and can be different every year!

Through DMF, Members have sent care packages to military troops, collected supplies for the local women’s shelter, raised funds for the school music program, and so much more. For inspiration to turn your passion into action, visit the Difference Maker blog.

Beneficial Members, Agents, and Chapter Leaders can nominate influential leaders who are doing extraordinary things to impact the lives of women and girls in their community. Through our signature women’s empowerment program, Nation of Neighbors℠, we empower women by recognizing and supporting their work through a nonprofit, business, or program. Previous award-recipients lead programs that feed the hungry, counsel sex trafficking victims, mentor at-risk girls, care for the homeless, and more.

We believe that a good education can lay the foundation for a lifetime of financial independence. That is why we are dedicated to making college more affordable for our Beneficial Members who plan to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited institution to obtain a trade or vocational degree, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or doctoral degree. We have awarded more than $5 million in scholarships, and Beneficial Members of any age can apply for this annual program.

Scholarship applications are accepted December 1 through March 1 every year.

From natural disasters to illness, when the unexpected occurs, Royal Neighbors is here for you. Our Member Relief fund provides financial support to qualified Beneficial Members experiencing hardship due to illness, accidents or a natural disaster.
