Even if Party Potatoes weren’t a staple at your house, you’ll still feel the comfort of home with each bite. While this is a warm side dish, it pairs well at any family gathering regardless of if it’s hot or cold outside. Passed down through generations, here’s our take on this timeless recipe.
Ingredients
1 can cream of potato soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup sour cream
2 Tbsps. grated onion
1 ½ tsps. salt
1 2-lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
1 cup shredded, cheddar cheese
Optional Ingredients
Paprika
Bacon bits
Instructions
Combine first seven ingredients and pour into ungreased 9×13-inch pan. Sprinkle with paprika and/or bacon bits, if desired. Cover and bake at 350° F. for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
How to Make this Recipe Lighter
– Use light sour cream.
– Use light cream of potato soup.
– Use low fat celery soup.
– Use reduced fat cheddar cheese.
– If using bacon bits, use turkey bacon.
