Dear Members –
As I write my first letter to the wonderful members of Royal Neighbors of America®, I want to thank you for your warm welcome and your resilience over the past two years. I also want to recognize and thank Curt Zeck for his dedicated service as Interim CEO of Royal Neighbors.
In 2022, our membership grew to 250,000. Our continued financial strength demonstrates our long-term commitment to members and ability to meet our financial obligations. We are also pleased to report AM Best affirmed our rating A Excellent on November 17, 2022.
We are especially proud of the efforts by our members in supporting their neighbors and communities. Together, we continue to make a difference, generating a new high in Social Good (how we measure our philanthropic impact) of $24.5 million, an increase of over 20% from the prior year.
At Royal Neighbors, we celebrate each member’s unique qualities and needs by offering a variety of financial products and Member Programs to support you through different stages of your life.
The RNA Member Programs app provides access to all our programs to help you maximize your budget, improve your health, and serve your community.
Many members utilize our Difference Maker Fund (DMF) to offset the cost of a volunteer project every year. In 2022, DMF projects grew an unbelievable 48%! Read how employee and member Ann Lembke uses DMF to make a difference in her community here.
Our Nation of Neighbors℠ program gives you the opportunity to nominate an influential leader in your community who is making a difference in the lives of women and girls. Our Beneficial Members can further their pursuit of post-secondary education through the Royal Neighbors Scholarship Program. Click here for a list of our recipients for the 2023–2024 academic year.
Additionally, our new monthly program RoyalConnect offers an opportunity to give back to your community through a small act of kindness.
