Ingredients
20 ozs. ground turkey breast
1 small yellow onion, chopped
⅔ cup salt-free ketchup
3 Tbsps. barbecue sauce
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 ½ tsps. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. celery seed
¼ tsp. black pepper
6 whole wheat hamburger buns
Optional Ingredient
Cheese slice (your preference, American, Cheddar, Pepper Jack, Colby-Jack, etc.)
Instructions
In a nonstick skillet, cook turkey and onion for 5 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink. In a small bowl, mix up the next seven ingredients. Add this to skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on buns. If adding cheese, add after putting turkey mixture on bun. Makes 6 servings.
