Dear Members –
We began 2022 in an outstanding position and a bittersweet announcement. Cynthia Tidwell, Royal Neighbors President and CEO announced her retirement in early January. We would like to recognize and thank Cynthia for her 16 years of visionary leadership and unrelenting dedication. Thanks to Cynthia’s leadership, we are in a strong position for the next generation of success.
As I reflect upon the past two years full of twists and turns, I am inspired by the character and strength our members have demonstrated. Through every challenge you’ve experienced through the pandemic, you have continued to generously give back to your neighbors and impact the wellbeing of your communities.
2021 was a successful year for the Society. I am proud to share that Royal Neighbors insurance and annuity product sales, assets, and net income continue to grow. You can learn more about this success by turning to the Annual Report on pages 16 and 17.
Also, in 2021, Royal Neighbors delivered $20.5 million in Social Good – a new record. Social Good is how we measure the philanthropic impact of Royal Neighbors. It includes the value of Philanthropy Programs, Member Savings, and volunteering.
For the fifth time, we were certified as a Great Place to Work®. Our employees work together to make Royal Neighbors a place where they can collaborate, celebrate differences, further their careers, and support their families.
As members themselves, our employees are dedicated to insuring lives, supporting women, and serving communities.
Our membership is growing, too. Soon, we will be celebrating a milestone of 250,000 members!
While I’m proud and inspired by these accomplishments, I am not surprised. This is who we are and who we have always been as members, Chapter Leaders, employees, and volunteers.

As Royal Neighbors, we commit to making a meaningful and lasting impact through volunteerism. As Royal Neighbors, we know that supported women build strong communities.
